University of Alabama Athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Learfield, have announced a five-year agreement with SummitMedia, LLC. to become the official radio home of Crimson Tide Sports Network in Birmingham.
Beginning this fall, fans will hear Crimson Tide football games with expanded pregame and postgame programming, Hey Coach and the Nick Saban Show and Crimson Tide Rewind live over the air on 106.9 “The Eagle” FM and on the 95.7 Jamz, 98.7 Today’s Kiss, 104.7 WZZK, 610 WAGG, and 97.3 Play website live streams; Crimson Tide men’s basketball and Hey Coach will air on “Play” 97.3 FM; and all UA women’s basketball and men’s varsity baseball games and the Crimson Tide Today daily show will be heard on both 1320 AM WENN and WAGG 100.1 FM. All Crimson Tide Sports Network broadcasts will also be simulcast on 1320 AM WENN and 95.7 HD2, providing AM, FM and HD radio coverage for the first time in Birmingham for all sports.
